Hugo is a medical doctor and Co-Founder of TrialScreen. Hugo brings over 20 years of experience in academic & biopharma sponsored research, working as a principal investigator and site owner as well as holding senior roles at Quintiles (now IQVIA) in the United States and Europe. Hugo also served as Executive Chairman at DrugDev, and brings practical encompassing clinical trial design and healthcare innovation.

Chief Growth Officer, Americas

Elisa brings over 30 years of leadership in clinical research and technology. She has held senior roles at Advarra, Science 37, IQVIA (DrugDev), and Clario (ERT), shaping site- and patient-centric solutions adopted worldwide. A respected voice in the sector and Past Chair of the Board of Trustees at ACRP, Elisa focuses on closing the gap between sponsors and sites with technology and processes that work for both research teams and participants.

Emma is head of scientific engagement at TrialScreen, where she helps make clinical trials more accessible through strategic engagement and communication. With a PhD in Neuroscience and decades of experience across research, policy, and health communication, Emma bridges academia, industry, and healthcare to connect communities with research that matters.

Melissa Adamski

Project Services

Melissa leads client onboarding and project delivery at TrialScreen, ensuring recruitment goals and timelines are met with a strong focus on client satisfaction. She works across teams to optimise study implementation and support high-quality participant engagement. An Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist, she holds degrees from UNSW and the University of Sydney.

With a background in accounting, financial management, and investment advisory, he brings a systems-focused approach to improving how things run. Patient Acquisition

Nick leads the patient outreach efforts at TrialScreen, utilising traditional digital marketing channels, including social media and search engine, and novel strategies, such as channel partnerships, to improve research awareness and drive trial participation. Nick is an experienced digital marketing manager who worked across numerous industries and brings his learning to engaging with consumers.
